Telling the story...

People aren't changed by ideas or concepts or theories or physical things. They're changed by other people, by their interactions with other people. Only through experiencing others and developing relationships with people who represent "other" to us can we truly broaden our minds and perspectives - thus changing the very nature of ourselves. I'm not even going to try to tell all the stories of what we did in Ghana. There are too many and although they might be interesting, those stories wouldn't be that representative of our experience. Instead, I'm going to tell the stories of the people we met and how they changed us... significantly.
